Monitoring Solution for AerFin
AerFin is a leading global specialist in providing cost-saving aftermarket support solutions to the aviation industry. They specialise in aircraft end of life services, offering leasing, technical consulting, trading & supply of equipment.
Ben Pinington, PMO Director, got in contact with us as the monitoring system AerFin had in place at the time used 2G, which is not going to be supported for much longer.
The Solution
Monitoring System
The D3 monitoring system is perfect for storage areas. With a range of different sensors we met the requirement to monitor both temperature and humidity.
Installation & Training
Our engineers attended two AerFin sites to install monitoring equipment. While onsite, IQ and OQ documentation were completed. Site staff were also trained on how to use the system.
Service/Calibration
To meet company requirements AerFin requires the sensors to be calibrated every 3 years, which we can carry out onsite. While onsite for calibration our engineer will also service the D3 and produce a PQ document.
Outcome
Upon ordering systems for both sites our calibration laboratory carried out calibrations on the new sensors. Our installation engineers then attended the sites to install the equipment and provide system training to onsite staff.
The systems have been operating well onsite. AerFin have since added temperature sensors to both systems to monitor the temperature in the server room.
