Wireless Temperature Monitoring in Food & Retail
Wireless monitoring systems, designed in compliance with HACCP & BRC standards.
Food services
Working with food and perishable produce means having to consistently meet stringent hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) compliance standards. Continuous monitoring systems help food retailers maintain this strict level of control when foods are being stored and displayed. Temperature monitoring helps keep food fresh and ensure fridges and freezers are working at the correct temperatures not only to maintain compliance but to ensure optimum running costs.
Simple to use, cost effective real time temperature monitoring systems for food services, food retail and throughout the cold chain.
Monitor Fridges, freezers, vehicles, food preparation areas, cold rooms, hot cases, refrigerators and door events through our extensive range of wireless sensors.
Multi-level alarm thresholds for each sensor with tailored alarm notifications to alert users to take corrective action to protect stock and save money.
Continuous monitoring reduces errors from manual checks providing historical data, reports and robust audit trails to support regulatory compliance.
Measurement types
Accurate and robust range of sensors providing monitoring solutions for every food retail application.
Temperature
Wireless temperature sensors to monitor both hot and cold food product, shelf temperatures, chilled and low temperature refrigeration cases. Wireless sensors can be provided to monitor air, product or simulate food temperature.
Humidity
Humidity is especially important when food is stored for long periods of time with moisture in the air affecting the quality of the food. Our wireless humidity sensors provide constant monitoring to alert you when the humidity exceeds predefined limits.
Door Events
Coldstore and freezer room doors remaining open for longer than necessary both waste energy and put stored product at risk. Door open alarms with configurable delays ensure staff members are made aware with logging showing the number and time period the doors were open.

A food temperature monitoring system is a critical tool used in the food industry to ensure food safety and quality. Our systems involve the use of sensors and wireless transmitters to track the temperature of food products during various stages of production, storage, and transportation.
Maintaining the correct temperature is vital in preventing the growth of harmful bacteria and ensuring food stays fresh and safe for consumption.
Our system are commonly used in commercial kitchens, food manufacturing plants, restaurants, and supply chains, where food needs to be kept within specific temperature ranges (such as refrigerated or frozen conditions) to comply with health regulations.
The system typically involves sensors placed in refrigerators, freezers, or storage areas, which send real-time data to our central monitoring system. If the temperature falls outside the safe range, alerts are triggered, allowing quick corrective actions.
Our modern food temperature monitoring systems also include features like; data logging, HACCP compliant report generation and alarm audit logs, making it easier for businesses to meet regulatory standards such as BRC, minimize waste, and prevent foodborne illnesses.
Our temperature monitoring systems offer numerous benefits to the food sector, enhancing food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
One of the primary advantages is its ability to help maintain food safety by continuously tracking temperatures at critical points during production, storage, and transportation. This ensures that food products remain within safe temperature ranges, preventing bacterial growth and reducing the risk of foodborne illnesses.
Another significant benefit is the assistance with the prevention of spoilage and waste. Perishable goods, such as meat, dairy, and produce, are highly sensitive to temperature fluctuations. By using our monitoring systems, businesses can quickly identify any deviations from optimal conditions, allowing for timely corrective actions and minimizing product loss.
Temperature monitoring also helps in maintaining consistent product quality. Proper temperature control ensures that the texture, flavour, and nutritional value of food products are preserved, which enhances customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
Additionally, our automated temperature monitoring systems reduce the need for manual checks, saving labour costs and reducing human error. Our systems real-time alerts notify staff of temperature breaches, allowing for immediate intervention and preventing further issues.
The systems also assist in regulatory compliance, ensuring that businesses meet local and international food safety standards such as HACCP. Accurate and comprehensive temperature records provide verifiable documentation for audits, inspections, and certifications.
Overall, a temperature monitoring system plays a crucial role in maintaining food safety, reducing waste, ensuring quality, and achieving compliance, making it an indispensable tool for the food industry.

HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a systematic approach used in food safety to prevent contamination and ensure food products are safe for consumption.
It focuses on identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards throughout the food production process. These hazards can be biological (e.g., bacteria, viruses), chemical (e.g., pesticides, allergens), or physical (e.g., glass, metal fragments).
HACCP is built on seven principles:
Hazard Analysis: Identify potential hazards that could cause foodborne illnesses.
Critical Control Points (CCPs): Determine points in the process where hazards can be controlled or eliminated.
Critical Limits: Establish acceptable limits for each CCP, such as temperature or humidity levels.
Monitoring Procedures: Implement systems to monitor CCPs consistently and ensure critical limits are met.
Corrective Actions: Define steps to take if a critical limit is not met, ensuring no unsafe product reaches consumers.
Verification Procedures: Regularly review the HACCP system to confirm it works effectively.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, including hazard analysis, CCPs, and corrective actions.
HACCP is internationally recognized and essential for industries involved in food production, processing, and distribution. It’s particularly important in regulatory environments, ensuring compliance with food safety laws and reducing the risk of foodborne illness outbreaks. By systematically managing food safety, HACCP ensures the production of safer food products.
Maintaining the cold chain forms a critical part of any HACCP process, our wireless temperature monitoring system can assist you in doing this. More

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) refers to a set of regulations and guidelines designed to ensure that products, particularly in industries like food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. GMP aims to minimise the risks involved in production that cannot be eliminated through final product testing, ensuring product safety and efficacy for consumers.
GMP covers all aspects of production, including raw material sourcing, equipment maintenance, staff hygiene, and the cleanliness of manufacturing facilities. It ensures that products are produced in a clean, controlled environment with well-documented processes. GMP regulations also require thorough documentation, including batch records, which allow traceability in the event of a product recall or investigation.
By adhering to GMP, manufacturers reduce the risk of contamination, product defects, and errors that could harm consumers. The guidelines vary slightly depending on the industry and regulatory bodies (such as the BRC, U.S. FDA or WHO), but the core principles remain consistent worldwide.
Non-compliance can lead to severe consequences, including product recalls, legal actions, and damage to the company's reputation. Therefore, GMP is crucial for maintaining quality, protecting consumers, and ensuring business sustainability.

All food sector businesses have a legal requirement to record and keep temperature records for temperature sensitive foods. Currently there is no requirement for this to be an electronic, automatic, system.
However the benefits of electronic monitoring are;
- Monitoring needs to be completed daily, 365 days per year. Who records temperature out of hours? Our constant electronic monitoring completes this task every minute of every day.
- Manual monitoring can be forgotten, temperatures misinterpreted and errors made. Our systems ensure that exact temperatures are recorded, stored and are accessible via reports and graphs for audit review.
- Staff are often confused on what to do if temperatures are outside of an expected range. Our monitoring systems allow you to put high/low set points, with alarms delays (to stop false alarms during defrost cycles), meaning that when you have a temperature issue our system will alarm and tell you.
- Reduced stock loss, constant monitoring and alarm functions... More
Our range of systems are standalone, networked monitoring systems that record, store and give access to data from any device with a browser.
There are no licence fees, specialist software, monthly cloud fees and no server or dedicated computer space required. More
